Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 October 2026

By creating an account or using BuildAudit Zambia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service is

BuildAudit Zambia is a tool that estimates building materials and costs, records purchases and daily site logs, and flags possible problems. It is free to try while we test it. We may add paid plans later and will tell you before any charge applies.

Estimates are a guide

Quantities, costs and warnings are estimates based on the information and prices entered and on common building rules. They are not a quotation, an engineer's design or professional advice, and they are not a guarantee. Always confirm structural details, quantities and prices with a qualified builder, engineer or supplier. A warning does not prove that anyone has done anything wrong. We are not responsible for decisions or disputes that arise from using the figures, to the extent the law allows.

Your account

Expert site visits

You can ask for an engineer or building expert to visit your site. We arrange the visit and agree the fee with you before it is booked. The expert's report describes what was seen on the day of the visit. It is not a guarantee of work that was covered, hidden or built later, and it does not replace the duties of your builder, designer or the local authority. Please give the expert safe access to your site.

What you may not do

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Ownership

The BuildAudit Zambia name, logo, design, calculations and software belong to us. Your project information belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Notice.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copy of important records, for example by saving the PDF report or downloading the lists.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia.
